Beyond just backing up the OPML feeds, something that would retain the metadata from Liked, Shared (with Notes), etc, would be helpful. It would help customers transition their traditional Google accounts to unified Google App accounts that have been transitioned to their unified infrastructure.

Thanks Johan! We're working on building out our Google backup service so I'll note this for an added feature.

Get the list of feeds backed up would be more than enough for me. I'd really like to see that added to Backupify.

We add additional service backups as demand sees fit. We have not had requests for this one yet but will note it for future developments. Thanks for your feedback!

I would definitely love to see support for feeds, rss, atom etc. All the standards so anything could be backed up, wordpress, google reader etc etc.

I would be happy just knowing that the OPML file with my feeds is backed up on Backupify. Seems simple enough. I don't care so much about the other data in Google Reader.

The OPML data is only a list of the feeds you subscribe to. I guess what the original commenter wants is, well, everything else that Greader has: your settings, stars, likeds, shareds, unread marks, contacts/friends, comments, the things you share with the bookmarklet, configuration, posts that your account contains but were deleted from the original feed and wont appear anywhere else, etc.

Well even in gmail you could just download all your e-mails. the point is backupify is a central repository of all your online data.

Couldn't you just export the OPML file?
