And thank you for being a fan for life! Your feedback has been great and we hope to be able to provide this feature to you in the near future. Let us know how the email forwarding works for you and if your backups work properly through this. Feel free to contact me directly with any questions: kristin at backupify dot com.

Thank you for your response Kristin. I considered doing forwarding as you suggested, but as with POP access, regular Yahoo Mail doesn't support automatic forwarding and one has to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus for $19.99 per year to be able to use this feature. (I get hundreds of e-mails per day for my work at my Yahoo mail address, so it's not practical to forward them all one by one.)
So it looks like there is currently no free option to synchronize a Yahoo Mail account with a Google mail account, so I will have to break down and pay the money for Yahoo Mail Plus in order to be able to synchronize my Yahoo account with Google and then get it backed up even more with Backupify. Oh well, at least I tried to try find a more cost-effective option. ;-)
In any case, thank you once again for all of your helpful services that you do currently provide, and I look forward to Yahoo Mail being supported directly by Backupify in the future when you're able to get to adding it. Thanks! :-)

We still have Yahoo Mail support on our roadmap but not in the immediate future. My best suggestion for a backup remedy is to forward your Yahoo Mail to Gmail so you can technically use Gmail if you want (or stay with Yahoo) and we will backup your Gmail account with all your forwarded Yahoo mail. This will provide multiple copies of all your correspondences but also ensure you never lose anything. This, unfortunately, is the best solution until we are able to support Yahoo Mail.

P.S. Re: the Yahoo Mail Plus fee mentioned in the previous post, it is $19.99 per year.

Kristen and/or mattyboi35:
Could you please explain exactly what you mean by "sync your accounts together" and/or "go into your gmail account, associate Yahoo Mail account with that." Thanks.
As far as I know there is only one option at Gmail that will constantly synchronize the two accounts, and that is Mail Fetcher. However that requires that the account that Gmail synchronizes with has POP access, and regular free Yahoo Mail (which is what I currently have), doesn't have that. Only Yahoo Mail Plus has POP access, and that is a paid service that requires an annual fee. So I would have to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus in order to use Mail Fetcher.
Is there a free option that I'm missing? The only other option that I can find at Gmail is the option to import all e-mail into Gmail from another account, but then new e-mails are only imported from the old account for 30 days, and so this option doesn't keep a full set of all e-mails constantly at both accounts.
In any case, if necessary I will pay for Yahoo Mail Plus to be able to fully synchronize my Yahoo mail account with Gmail as it would be worth it to me, but I am hoping to find a free option if one is available.
Thanks in advance if you can help clarify this issue.

We support these through Google, so as Mattyboi35 stated, you can sync your accounts together and this will automatically be backed up for you. Thanks for your feedback!
