The ones I use are crashplan and dropbox, so I already have two clients running on my machine to "sync data with the cloud".
So, this means I'd like to have all my backupify files inside dropbox somehow and, specially good if I don't have to install any other client on my end!
Or...
If I could have a replacement for both with a single better client that also syncs with them. The way I picture this is a server which have all clients already installed for us (adding for users of other services such as sugarsync, spider oak, carbonite, etc).
Since you're all about syncing the web, I know this is nearly impossible but it would be so great!
And now we're talking about something I'd really want to pay for! :D
cauetag:feedback.backupify.com,2008-02-07:Event/104484032011-12-25T01:30:39-08:002011-12-25T01:30:39-08:00Give more control to non-admin accounts
Bruce Blacklaws suggested:
Instead of having to use a Google Apps admin account to change stuff, it would be cool to allow a regular user account access to do this. When we migrated our services to our new platform, the Twitter backup was re-written and it did not include URLs. We found that most users just simply liked the ability to have the PDF and see the tweets, most didn't have a need to actually visit that same tweet on Twitter itself since they were reading it on the PDF. We are looking to make some usability changes to a few of our social media products so I will note your feedback here on this and see if we can get the links back in.

Currently, after a restore, I cannot indicate whether a file was owned by me or only shared to me. It's a plain new copy, owned by me and shared with no one.
Such an indication could easily be done by putting it into an additional collection:
My collections

> (from John Doe)
> (from Edgar Example)

This way at least I know that I have to contact John Doe or Edgar Example and ask him to share the original file with me again, so that I can continue working at the "actual" file the collaborators work on, too, and not on a "fork" of it. (The restored file is then obsolete and can be trashed).
Cannontag:feedback.backupify.com,2008-02-07:Event/99487132011-10-04T12:37:48-07:002011-10-04T12:37:48-07:00Google Docs: Indicate files of other owners [updated]
When I restore a file that has been shared with me (i.e. a file I didn't own myself, but its owner has granted me access to read or edit) I usually not only want to be able to read its content again, but also to continue collaboration on it with its owner and others contributors.
Currently, after a restore, I cannot indicate whether a file was owned by me or only shared to me. It's a plain new copy, owned by me and shared with no one.
Such an indication could easily be done by putting it into an additional collection:
My collections

> (My own files)
> (Shared to me)
> (from John Doe)
> (from Edgar Example)

I have a Google Apps setup for myself and a few members of my family for personal stuff, and a couple of others for various businesses. I'd love to be able to backup everything in one place.
Cannon
